Julie Smith

Julie joins PHCN with 25+ years’ experience growing and managing Government focused health plans. Julie is responsible for all sales and account management activity at PHCN. Previously, she served as SVP of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) and President of Advantage Solutions. In these roles, Julie delivered Medicare products to members nationally with annual revenue of $6 billion and lead business process outsourcing and technology services offerings to 25+ leading healthcare companies focused on consumer and government programs. As President of Anthem BCBS, Julie managed a multi-state $9 billion business segment. She has also founded an e-learning company and held roles with Federal (CMS), State and Consulting organizations.

Julie holds a Master of Health Services from The Johns Hopkins University and serves on several non-profit boards making significant public health contributions.
