Alfonso Perez Basilio

Alfonso Perez Basilio has a diverse work experience spanning several industries.

From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Construction Foreman at Perez Cable Post Tension, where they read structural plans for residential concrete slabs, installed steel cable and rebar, and reported on-site performance to construction managers.

In 2017, they worked as a Merchandiser at Premium Retail Services, where they built and maintained interactive displays and provided customer assistance.

Starting in 2018, Alfonso joined Applied Materials as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, where they were involved in various tasks such as performing rework, troubleshooting, and conducting routine testing. Alfonso later transitioned to the role of Engineering Technician, handling electro-mechanical technical functions, including design, testing, and troubleshooting of electronics and experimental circuitry.

In 2020, Alfonso became a Special Inspector at Gorrondona Engineering Services, Inc., overseeing inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations in construction projects.

Currently, Alfonso serves as a Project Manager at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI), a position they started in December 2022.

Alfonso Perez Basilio attended The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley from 2012 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After completing their degree, Alfonso obtained various certifications in the field of construction and engineering. In January 2021, they earned the ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I certification from the American Concrete Institute. Subsequently, in April 2021, Alfonso obtained certifications as a Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector - 49 and a Prestressed Concrete Special Inspector - 92 from the International Code Council. In June 2021, they also earned the Soils Special Inspector certification from the same institution. Finally, in August 2022, Alfonso obtained the Commercial Building Inspector certification from the International Code Council.
