Britton W. Gentry, PE, GE, PEng has over 30 years of work experience in the field of geotechnical engineering. Britton W. is currently serving as the Chief Geotechnical Engineer at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI), a position they have held since January 2020.

Prior to this, Britton worked as a Principal Engineer at GEO Consultants Northwest, Inc. from March 2015 to January 2020. Before joining GEO Consultants Northwest, Inc., they held various roles at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) from 2010 to 2015, including Principal Consultant Geotechnical Engineering and Geotechnical and Environmental Services Department Manager.

From 2003 to 2011, Britton was the Owner of BCG Consulting, Inc. Geotechnical, Civil, & Structural Engineering. Britton W. also worked as a Geotechnical Engineer at GRI- Geotechnical and Environmental Consultants from 1997 to 2003.

Earlier in their career, Britton gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Duke Energy Field Services from 1995 to 1997 and as a Project Manager at Gentry Development, Inc. from 1987 to 1992.

Throughout their career, Britton has consistently demonstrated expertise and leadership in the field of geotechnical engineering.

Britton W. Gentry, PE, GE, PEng pursued their education in Civil Engineering at Clemson University. From 1992 to 1995, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Britton W. then continued their education at Clemson University and earned a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from 1995 to 1997.

In terms of additional certifications, Britton holds the title of Professional Engineer (PE) from the South Carolina State Board of Registration for Engineers and Surveyors. Britton W. obtained this certification in July 2022. It is also evident that Britton has pursued various other Professional Engineer certifications from institutions such as the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, the State of Missouri, the State of Montana, Engineers and Geoscientist British Columbia, the Mississippi Board of Licensure for PEPLS, the State of Oregon, the State of Washington, the State of Utah, the State of Minnesota, the State of New Mexico, the State of Pennsylvania, the State of Idaho, the Alabama Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, the State of Oklahoma, the State of Wyoming, the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), the State of Arkansas, and the State of Colorado.
