Professionals Real Estate New Zealand

Professionals is a group of independent New Zealand-owned businesses operating under one of real estate’s most recognised and trusted brands. Our offices cover the length and breadth of New Zealand, from Cooper's Beach in the far north to Invercargill in the deep south. We help working New Zealanders buy and sell property. Often this is residential property; in many cases it’s the family home. Which makes it more than just a financial transaction; it makes it personal. We fully understand the trust placed in us when we become responsible for the purchase or sale of what is, for most New Zealanders, not only their biggest asset, but something that’s very close to their hearts. We promise that Professionals will work harder than any real estate company to earn your trust. The Professionals brand originated in Australia. And we've got to give our brothers and sisters across the ditch credit for what they achieved. Professionals began in 1976 when six independent Brisbane real estate agents joined forces to form a cooperative. They wanted to challenge the traditional real estate model and give the big boys a run for their money. It was a bit of a revolution. Instead of competing with each other, they started working together as a network, while still maintaining their status as independent business owners. Founded on a set of shared principals and bound by a common purpose, the model quickly caught on. In 1983, about the time Poi-E was being recorded by the Patea Maori Club, New Zealand real estate businesses began to join the Professionals brand. We've been expanding ever since. Our members are still independent, New Zealand-owned business, but we all have a say in the future direction of the group and draw on its strengths and resources.
