John Carlo Alarcon has worked in a variety of roles across multiple companies. In 2014, they began their career as an intern at ABS-CBN Corporation, where they assisted the Futures, Standards, and Ethics Department in research for investigative news and special reports production. John Carlo also joined the production team of Rated K and assisted the Head Scriptwriter in weekly editing and weekly shoots. In 2015, they worked as an Account Executive at FleishmanHillard, where they served clients with their public relation needs, media planning and management. John Carlo also wrote content for press releases and served as contact for media in client events. In 2016, they worked as a Creative Strategist at Eventscape Manila, where they spearheaded creative conceptualization of projects and worked with brands from a wide array of industries. In 2017, they worked as a Brand Communications Specialist at COMCO Southeast Asia, where they worked with account matters to fulfill client's public relations, social media content and event executions. John Carlo also launched products in different regions of the Philippines and conceptualized projects that were executed for various brands. In the same year, they also worked as a PR and Partnerships Lead and PR Specialist / Content Writer / Driver Marketing at Lalamove. In 2020, they worked as a Marketing Consultant at Avion School. Finally, in 2021, they worked as a PR and Brand Marketing Manager at Arc.dev, where they were one of the pioneers of Arc.dev's PR team tasked to elevate brand recognition across tech media around the globe. John Carlo also created a global PR network from the ground up that brought about news features from Tech Crunch, Forbes, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, and Dice Insights. John Carlo currently works as a Social Media and Email Marketing Manager at Profi.
John Carlo Alarcon obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Media Studies from De La Salle University between 2011 and 2014. In June 2018, they earned a Content Marketing Certification from HubSpot. In October 2021, they obtained a Fundamentals of Media Relations certification from Muck Rack.
