Akshay Sawant

Akshay Sawant began their work experience in 2019 as a Junior System Engineer at SEED Infotech Ltd. Akshay then moved on to Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited in 2020 and served as a Cyber Security Analyst until June 2022. Currently, they are working at Proficio as a Managed EDR Threat Engineer starting from July 2022.

Akshay Sawant obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from N B Navale Sinhgad College of Engineering, Solapur (NBNSCOE, Solapur) from 2016 to 2019. In terms of additional certifications, they completed courses such as Apex Central for Administrators and Threat Hunting with Vision One Technical Essentials from Trend Micro in September 2022. In September 2020, they obtained a certification in Technical Support Fundamentals from Coursera, and in August 2020, they completed the Introduction to Cybersecurity course offered by Cisco. Additionally, Akshay obtained certifications in CyberArk Certified Trustee from CyberArk in July 2020, ICSI | CNSS Certified Network Security Specialist from ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute), UK in June 2020, and Fortinet certifications including NSE 2 Network Security Associate, NSE 3 Network Security Associate, and Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate in December 2021.
