Clare Grist Taylor is a seasoned publishing professional with extensive experience in editorial and management roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Editor-at-Large at Economist Books since March 2021 and as the Founder and Agent at The Accidental Agency since June 2019, Clare focuses on nurturing non-fiction authors from concept to commissioning. Clare is also the Publisher at CGT Publishing, providing support and mentoring for authors. Previous roles include Interim Director at The London Museum of Water & Steam, Business and Operations Director at Profile Books Ltd, and Managing Director at ICSA Information & Training. Clare's publishing journey began with Prentice Hall Europe as Editorial Director. Clare holds a degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford.
