Dr. Thomas Dimakopoulos

Dr. Thomas Dimakopoulos has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Dr. Thomas started their career in 2003 as a Senior Software Engineer at RTS Labs, where they worked until 2005. From 2005 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at INTRASOFT International. Simultaneously, they also served as an EU Commission Research Consultant for the EU-funded program "Support to Research & Technological Development & Innovation" (SRTD) from 2005 to 2008. In 2006, they began working as an RnD reviewer at ECO Project European Commission, a role they still hold. Dr. Thomas joined Credit Agricole in 2009 as a Block Chain and Digital Currency expert until 2011. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at EXUS. Dr. Thomas then moved on to work at CrisisPlan BV as a Contractor from 2015 to 2016. Since 2015, they have been an Active Reviewer on eGovernment Projects for the European Commission. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer at Profile Software, which they started in 2017.

Dr. Thomas Dimakopoulos has an extensive education history. Dr. Thomas obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD (Post Doc) degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Oxford, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Computer Science at the University of Cambridge from 2003 to 2006.

Dr. Dimakopoulos also holds a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from New York University, which they completed between 1999 and 2002. Additionally, they obtained a Master's degree in Digital Signal Processing from Cranfield University, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. Dr. Thomas'seducational journey began with a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Dr. Dimakopoulos has also obtained certification in HL 7 from HL7 UK in October 2014.
