Zuzana Hesova

Zuzana Hesova has over 25 years of work experience. Zuzana started their career in 1991 as an Internal Revenue Officer at the Czech Internal Revenue Service, where they conducted onsite examinations, resolved tax collection issues, and demonstrated their ability to quickly learn new tax and accounting laws. Zuzana then worked at Ernst & Young as an Assurance Senior, participating in annual audits, coordinating audit team activities, and mentoring junior staff.

Following that, Zuzana joined Interkontakt as an Accounting Manager, responsible for proper accounting of general ledger transactions, monthly general ledger reconciliation, and accruals, deferrals, and aging.

In 2011, they worked at EFI as a Payroll Accountant, preparing and processing semimonthly payroll for 1000 employees and improving the relationship between the payroll and human resources departments.

Zuzana later joined profiq as an Accountant/Bookkeeper, handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and preparing 1099-MISC. In 2018, they became the Finance Director at profiq s.r.o. and was responsible for overseeing the company's finances.

During their time at profiq, Zuzana also briefly worked at Bolt Threads as an Accounts Payable Specialist on a contract basis.

Prior to their current role, Zuzana was the Finance and Accounting Manager at Czech School of California for six years. In this role, they handled the organization's finance and accounting, prepared financial parts of grant applications, and managed annual budgets and financial reporting.

Zuzana Hesova pursued their undergraduate education from 1987 to 1991 at Prague University of Economics and Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.
