Ted Schaefer's work experience includes a role as the Director of Supply Chain and Logistics Services at Profit Point since January 2008. Prior to that, they held various positions at Rohm and Haas, starting as a Process Engineer in 1983 and progressing through different roles in Engineering, Customer Service, and Logistics. Ted served as the Monomers Global Logistics Manager before transitioning to the Performance Polymers business. At Rohm and Haas, they were accountable for strategy, processes, and day-to-day operations for a multi-business unit global supply chain with sales exceeding $2 billion per year. Ted also jointly negotiated transportation contracts and managed carrier relationships at both site and corporate levels. Additionally, Ted worked at Exxon Chemical as a Development Engineer, where they developed an economic optimization model for a large chemical process and solved a long-standing quality problem with a novel solution.
Ted Schaefer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville in 1979. Ted then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering (M Eng) in Chemical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 1980. In 1989, they attended the University of Houston and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Operations and Finance in 1991.
