Jannie Cahill has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1994 as a Research Manager at Spectrum Strategy Consultants. Jannie moved on to work as a Senior Media and Marketing Analyst at CBS Outdoor in 1999. In 2000, they joined Nielsen as a Marketing Manager, contributing to the growth of the NetValue brand until it was acquired by Nielsen. From 2001 to 2003, they served as the Marketing Manager, Europe and Japan, at BTLookSmart, where they successfully raised the company's profile in the search marketing space. In 2003, Cahill became the Head of Marketing at Experian, instrumental in growing the Hitwise brand in the UK until its acquisition in 2012. Since 2013, they have been working as the Director of Marketing EMEA at Profitero, leading the growth of the company's intelligent commerce solutions across 50 countries and 1000+ retailers.

Jannie Cahill obtained their BA Honours degree in French and English from the University of Leicester between 1990 and 1994. Prior to that, they attended Coloma Convent Girls School from 1983 to 1990, where they obtained 3 A levels and 10 GCSEs. Jannie also holds a CIM Advanced Certificate in Marketing from Martran College. In addition to their formal education, Jannie has obtained certifications in EMBER/torch™ Next Commerce Leadership from firstmovr and Profitero Certification 2.0 from Profitero in 2022.
