Emiliano Leonardi has been working as a professional photographer since 2011. Emiliano has a particular passion for family photography and has worked with various universities and art communities worldwide. In 2013, they became an Olympus visionary and later joined Profoto as a sales promoter in 2020. Emiliano has also worked as a promoter for California Sunbounce, teaching lighting techniques across Europe and the US. Emiliano gained valuable experience as the assistant team leader for Steve Thornton Photography, where they were responsible for location scouting and managing a team. Emiliano has also held roles as a sales promoter for Franzis Verlag and as an assistant/second shooter and lead assistant for Steve Thornton. Additionally, they worked as a photography assistant and lead assistant for Sunbounce GmbH, where they assisted in workshops and developed mediatic skills.

Emiliano Leonardi's education history begins in 2000 when they obtained their high school degree from Liceo Scientifico Leonardo da Vinci in Cairo. Following that, they pursued studies in archaeology at Università Roma 3 from 2002 to 2006, focusing on Egyptology and Etymology. In 2006, they attended Volkshochschule Rostock for a year and studied German Language, earning a degree known as DaF. From 2007 to 2012, Emiliano enrolled at the Open College of the Arts (OCA) where they obtained a BA HONS degree in Photography. Finally, Emiliano completed an internship at Steve Thornton Photography from 2011 to 2019, furthering their skills in the field of photography.
