Esther Ruiz de Quintanilla has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Esther started their career at El Corte Ingles as a Visual Merchandiser. Esther then transitioned to Eda Centro Artistico de Moda y Diseño, where they worked as a teacher, conducting workshops for fashion design students. Esther later joined the Real Sociedad Fotográfica as an Assistant of the Board of Directors, responsible for internal communications, design, and member management.

In 2012, Esther joined COS as a Sales Advisor, eventually becoming the Accessories Responsible and also serving as a Visual Merchandiser Backup. Esther worked at COS for a total of six and a half years. Esther then took on freelance photography and styling projects, working with Just-Ene as a Stylist and as a Freelance Fashion Stylist and Designer for various audiovisual projects.

In 2021, Esther joined FARFETCH as a Product Photography Specialist, supporting the Art Director and Studio's Manager in developing photography and product styling guidelines. Esther also led a team of photographers, developed training plans, and motivated the team to experiment and enhance product detail shots.

Moving to 2022, Esther started working at Profoto as a Creative Training Consultant and also joined Escuela TAI as a Visual Trends Professor.

Esther Ruiz de Quintanilla has a diverse education history in the field of photography, fashion, and art. In 2003 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design at EDA Centro Artístico de Moda y Diseño. Following that, in 2010 to 2012, they acquired a Certificate of Higher Education in Fashion Styling from Escuela de arte de Cádiz. In 2015 to 2017, they attended Escuela de Arte nº 10 and obtained a Certificate of Higher Education in Photography. Furthermore, in 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Master's Degree in Fashion and Communication Photography at Escuela TAI. Additionally, Esther has undertaken several short courses and workshops in various subjects. These include a Phase One Certified Professional course from Phase One, a Coolhunting Specialist course from Istituto Europeo di Design in 2009, an Expert course in Fashion Education, Culture, and Management from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. in 2007-2008, a Design, Assembly, and Trends in Visual Merchandising course from Confederación Española de Comercio in 2015, and a Community Management and Digital Marketing course from Universidad Pablo de Olavide in 2014. Esther also attended courses such as Stock Management from Grupo Femxa in 2014, Art Galleries Management from Arte Sostenible in 2014, Digital Printing for Textiles from El Estudio de La Casita de Wendy in 2012, and Web Page Design from Junta de Andalucía - Asociación Cardjin in 2010.
