Matt Brasier has a diverse work experience in the field of photography. Matt started their career as a Freelance Photographic Assistant, working with various photographers. After that, they worked as a Freelance Photographer and Contributor for Masterfile. Matt then joined Loads of different Photographers as a Freelance Photographic Assistant.
In 2002, Matt became a Freelance Digital Operator at Spring Studios, where they were responsible for technical operations and image processing. Matt also started their own photography business, Matt Brasier Photography.
In 2004, Matt joined Debenhams as the Internet Photography Manager, managing the in-house studio and shooting fashion and product photography.
In 2010, they took on the role of Photography Manager at NET-A-PORTER and also worked as a Lead Consultant at studiomakers.co.uk, providing consultancy services for in-house photographic studios.
From 2012 onwards, Matt worked at StyleShoots, a Profoto company, initially as a UK Sales Representative, responsible for sales, training, and support. Matt later became the Global Head of Creative Training, overseeing training, support, services, and development for ecommerce fashion. Matt also served as the Creative Director, responsible for the creative direction of the company.
Currently, Matt Brasier is the Creative Product Director at Profoto, a position they have held since 2022.
Matt Brasier attended Ko Hsuan from 1986 to 1992, where they studied Art and Photography. In 1992, they also briefly attended Arts University Plymouth, focusing on Photography. No degrees were mentioned for either educational experience.
