Sara Schmidt

Sara Schmidt is a seasoned quality assurance professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Head of Quality at Profound Research since September 2023, Sara previously held the positions of Head of Quality and Compliance and Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance at CVS Health from April 2021 to August 2023. Prior to that, Sara was Associate Quality Assurance Director at IQVIA, focusing on the implementation of quality deliverables for global sponsors. At NewLink Genetics, from 2016 to 2019, Sara developed the Clinical Quality Management System and managed corporate compliance. Earlier roles included positions at DuPont Pioneer as Study Director and Quality Assurance Auditor, and at EMSL Analytical, Inc. as Compliance Supervisor. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Iowa State University and a Master of Science in Agronomy with a focus on Environmental Safety from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
