Elik Chapnik

Elik Chapnik is the Chief Executive Officer at Yeda, the tech transfer arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science, a position they have held since 2025. Elik previously served as the Senior Director of Business Development and has extensive experience in commercialization within the life sciences sector. They have also worked as a Board Observer for Renewal Bio, UltraSight, ProFuse Technology, and Scala Biodesign. Elik's academic background includes multiple degrees from the Weizmann Institute, including a PhD in Molecular Genetics, and they have contributed to science education as a Teaching Assistant at the Davidson Institute of Science Education.
