Gustavo Barbieri

Gustavo Barbieri is the founder and director of ProFUSION embedded systems, which has become a global leader in embedded Linux development since its establishment in March 2008. In addition to this role, Gustavo serves as a senior developer in the Python Community, contributing to various projects including Freevo's user interface and the authoring of Eagle, a GUI abstraction layer. Previous experience includes positions at Intel Corporation, where Gustavo was a software engineering manager and senior project architect for IoT initiatives such as the Ostro and Soletta Projects, as well as a researcher at the Nokia Technology Institute and a part-time software developer at IBM's Linux Technology Center. Gustavo's educational background includes a degree from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, completed in 2005.
