Katja Betts has a robust background in marketing and communications within the life sciences and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisory Board Member at BioRN Life Science Cluster Rhine-Neckar and Co-President at PROGEN Biotech Inc., Katja has held the position of Chief Executive Officer at PROGEN Biotechnik GmbH since December 2016. Previous roles include Marketing and Communications Manager for LOT-QuantumDesign Europe, Co-Founder of HUB, and Marketing and Communications Manager at Newcastle University. Katja's expertise encompasses developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing teams, and fostering collaborations within both academic and industry contexts. Academic qualifications include an Executive Master of Science in Communications Management and a PG Professional Diploma in Marketing, complemented by a BA (Hons) in Communications.
