Ankita Kumari

Ankita Kumari is a seasoned professional in bioinformatics with extensive experience in genomics data analysis and operational management. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Progenesis since May 2024, Ankita previously held the position of Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Basepair Inc. from February 2021 to May 2024, where responsibilities included the development and maintenance of genomic data analysis pipelines. Prior to that, Ankita worked as a Next Generation Sequencing Data Analyst at Bionivid Technology Private Limited, collaborating with researchers to analyze large genomic data sets. Ankita's career also includes roles as a Research Assistant at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, a Research Fellow at University College of Medical Science, and a research project at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from ACBR, Delhi University, a Bachelor of Science from Shaheed Rajguru College, and an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research from Cliniminds.
