Katy Rainey

Katy Martin Rainey is currently a Professor at Purdue University, where Katy Martin focuses 70% of their research on soybean breeding and genetics, and 30% on teaching genetics. Prior to their current position, Katy Martin worked as an Assistant Professor at Progeny Drone Inc., where Katy Martin served as the CSO. Katy also has experience as an Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, specializing in vegetable breeding and genetics. Katy Martin holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Plant Breeding from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany from The University of Georgia.
