Stefan Lampa

Stefan Lampa has extensive experience in the robotics and management consulting industry. Stefan is currently the Chief Executive Officer at ProGlove since March 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Stefan Lampa Robotic & Management Consulting starting from August 2022. Previously, Stefan served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Swecon Anläggningsmaskiner AB, starting in September 2021. From April 2019 to August 2022, they were an Executive Board Member and President at Cargotec, and also held a position as an Executive Board Member at Cargotec Corporation during the same period. Before joining Cargotec, Stefan was the CEO of KUKA from January 2015 to March 2019. Stefan held various roles at ABB, including Global Head Robots & Applications from January 2011 to January 2015, and Group Vice-President Robot Modular Solutions from February 2009 to December 2010. Earlier in their career, Stefan worked as a General Manager at ABB, supplying robotized welding systems to the General and Automotive Industry in Europe and the Americas. Stefan also served as a Local Business Unit Manager at ABB Sistemas S.A. from March 1995 to December 1997.

Stefan Lampa pursued their education in a well-rounded manner, focusing on both business administration and mechanical engineering. In 2007, they attended IMD and completed an Executive MBA, specializing in Business Administration and Management. This provided him with valuable knowledge and skills in the corporate world. Prior to this, they studied from 1983 to 1988 at Luleå University of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering. This foundational education in engineering equipped him with technical expertise and problem-solving abilities in the field. With their diverse education background, Stefan Lampa has undoubtedly gained a comprehensive understanding of both business and engineering domains.
