Mark Costello

Mark Costello is an experienced operations and health and safety professional with a diverse background in the aviation and defense sectors. Currently, Mark serves as the RTS Operations Manager and Health and Safety Specialist at Programmed since April 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Health and Safety Specialist and Airside Foreman at Auckland Council from July 2019 to April 2022, and a tenure with the New Zealand Defence Force as Squadron Leader in the Territorial Airforce Ohakea from February 2009 to November 2019. Mark also held various positions at Airways New Zealand, including Business Manager North and Chief Air Traffic Controller, over a decade from February 2009 to February 2018, after starting a career with Airways Corporation NZ Ltd as a Senior Controller Ohakea and Air Traffic Controller from January 1987 to February 2005. Mark's educational background includes attendance at Chanel College in Masterton from 1979 to 1985.
