Sanjeev Kumar

Sanjeev Kumar is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the transportation and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer at Progress Rail, a Caterpillar Company, since June 2019, Sanjeev is instrumental in aligning business strategies with market dynamics and government policies focused on sustainability and electrification in India. Previously, Sanjeev held various leadership roles at Alstom, including Customer Director and Sales Director, where responsibilities centered on account management and business development. Sanjeev's career also includes significant tenures at GE Transportation, overseeing business operations and customer services across regions in West Asia, South Asia, and Australia. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Sanjeev has demonstrated a commitment to operational excellence, localization strategies, and innovative solutions within the industry.
