Angel Tsvetkov

Angel Tsvetkov has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Angel began their career in 2007 as a QA Engineer at Johnson Controls, working on the BMW PL6 software platform. After this, they joined Musala Soft in 2010 and held several roles as a QA Engineer and Senior QA Engineer, working on various projects and performing testing activities such as integration testing, performance testing, and mobile functional testing.

In 2012, Angel joined Progress and started as a QA Engineer on the Just Trace tool, a memory and performance profiler. Angel then progressed to the role of Senior QA Engineer on Team Pulse, a project management tool for software development teams. Angel later became a QA Architect for the Telerik Platform & Digital Factory, an end-to-end solution for web, hybrid, and native mobile app development.

Over the years at Progress, Angel transitioned into product management roles. Angel served as a Product Manager for the NativeScript Marketplace, a marketplace for discovering and downloading plugins for NativeScript applications. Angel then became a Product Owner for Sitefinity, a content management and marketing analytics platform, and later for Sitefinity Cloud, an enterprise-level digital marketing support tool.

Most recently, Angel has taken on leadership roles at Progress as a Senior Product Owner, a Sr. Product Manager, and currently as a Principal Product Manager. In these roles, they are responsible for compiling customer feedback and company strategy to develop product roadmaps, prioritizing features, collaborating with engineering teams, and delivering solutions that solve real business problems.

Angel Tsvetkov has a MSc degree in Information Technology from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (2010-2012) and a BSc degree in Electronics from Technical University Sofia (2005-2009). In addition to their degrees, they have obtained various certifications including PMC Level I and II from Pragmatic Institute, SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc., Certified SAFe 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, Information Technology Terminology, OO Concepts, and Software Quality Assurance from Brainbench, SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 from SCJP, and ISTQB Foundation level from South East European Testing Board.
