Chris Su

Chris Su is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Progress since August 2025, where responsibilities include modernizing the OpenEdge platform and fostering innovation in AI and application modernization. Previously, Chris held the position of Transformation Principal at USAA, leading initiatives in Generative AI and investment experience, and served as Director of Software Development at Intercontinental Exchange, focusing on compliance and trading solution strategies. Additional experience includes leading software engineering at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and managing software development teams at IBM, Constant Contact, Kronos, and Applix. Chris holds an MS in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from Northeast DianLi University in China.
