Lilia Messechkova

Lilia Messechkova has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple companies. Lilia began their career in 2005 at Applied Language Solutions, where they worked as a Software Developer and eventually became a Software Development Team Leader. In 2011, they joined Progress as a Software Developer and quickly progressed through various roles including Team Lead, Director of Engineering for the Sitefinity Product, and Senior Director of Software Engineering. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Enterprise Products and will soon assume the role of Senior Vice President of Engineering at Progress. Throughout their career, Lilia has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of software development.

Lilia Messechkova holds a Master's degree in E-business and e-governance from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the same university between 2002 and 2006. Lilia attended Mathematic School Geo Milev from 1996 to 2002, studying subjects such as Mathematics, English, and Geography. Lilia has also obtained additional certifications in various fields, including Leading Operational Excellence from MIT Sloan School of Management and PMC-II Certified from Pragmatic Institute in 2022. In 2018, they became a Certified SAFe 4 Agilist through Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
