Varun Sharma

Varun Sharma is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in cloud architecture and software engineering. Currently serving as Principal Architect in Professional Services at Progress since June 2021, Varun previously held key positions at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre, where responsibilities included Chief Architect for the Cloud Platform and AVP of Engineering from August 2018 to June 2021. Varun co-founded Oust Labs and operated as Product Architect, focusing on backend server management on AWS Cloud and solution implementation. Earlier career stages included roles at IBM India Software Lab, contributing to the development of the Hardware Management Console, and positions at GE Healthcare and Siemens Information Systems Ltd. Varun holds a Diploma in Advanced Computing from CDAC and a B.E. in Computer Science from the University of Rajasthan.
