Sherry Sun, CPA, CGA, has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Sherry began their career at Simon Fraser University, where they served as a Global Equity Analyst in the Student Investment Advisory Service from September 2013 to October 2014. Sherry then transitioned to CTBC Bank Corp. (Canada) and worked as a Credit Analyst from February 2015 to August 2016. Following this, Sherry joined The Peak Group of Companies as an Accounting Associate from August 2016 to April 2018.

Currently, Sherry holds a position at Progressa, where they have held various roles. Sherry started as an Intermediate Accountant from September 2018 to September 2019, then advanced to Assistant Controller from October 2019 to January 2022. Currently, Sherry serves as a Controller at Progressa, starting in January 2022.

Throughout their career, Sherry has acquired valuable skills in accounting, financial analysis, and credit analysis. With their CPA and CGA designations, they bring a strong foundation of knowledge and expertise to their roles.

Later, in 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance at Simon Fraser University, specializing in Finance, General. Sherry Sun has also obtained several additional certifications throughout their career, including QuickBooks Online from Intuit in August 2018, Certified General Accountants of Canada from CGA-Canada (Certified General Accountants Association of Canada) in January 2018, and the Bloomberg Aptitude Test from Bloomberg LP in March 2014.
