Hasnain Akhtar has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as Assistant Manager at Progressive Education Network since January 2013. Responsibilities include preparation of final accounts, budgeting for the organization and special projects, e-filing of income tax returns, and compliance with corporate matters, particularly those related to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). Prior to this, Hasnain held roles such as Manager Accounts at Arman & Company CA and Junior Auditor, focusing on similar accounting tasks and tax compliance. Hasnain holds a Master of Commerce and a Bachelor of Commerce from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, and is pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan.

Progressive Education Network
Established in 2005, Progressive Education Network provides quality education to underprivileged children all over Pakistan. Currently, PEN is operating 264 public schools nationwide where 64,000 students are enrolled in 15 districts of Pakistan. PEN is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan as a non-profit company under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984. PEN is certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy and under ISO 9001:2008 for implementation of a Quality Management System.
