Regional Chief Medical Officer at Progressive Emergency Physicians

Christopher Raio has a diverse work experience in the medical field. From July 2000 to August 2015, they worked as an MD at North Shore LIJ Health System. From there, they moved to North Shore University Hospital, where they held the positions of Associate Chairman and later Vice Chairman of Emergency Medicine from 2009 to 2015. Since August 2015, Christopher has been the Chairman of Emergency Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. In February 2019, they also took on the role of Regional Chief Medical Officer at Progressive Emergency Physicians.

Christopher Raio obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Hofstra University, completed between an unknown start year and the year 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government at the University of Florida, graduating in the years 1991 to 1995.
