Satbir Cheema has extensive work experience in the social services sector. Satbir began their career at Progressive Intercultural Community Services (PICS) Society in 1998, where they worked as the Director of Employment Programs and Planning for 19 years. In 2015, they served as the Acting CEO before being appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer in 2017. Additionally, Satbir was also involved in founding and leading the Surrey Night Market from 2014 to 2016. Satbir also had a brief role as the Director of Employment Programs and Planning at PICS from 2010 to 2012.
Satbir Cheema has an education history that includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Manitoba, completed from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, Cheema obtained a B.Sc.
