Program Design Lead at Progressive International

Joseph Kent has a diverse range of work experience in industrial design and program development. Joseph worked as a Program Design Lead at Progressive International from January 2014 onwards, where they were responsible for streamlining the development of product programs. Prior to this, they worked as an Industrial Designer at Progressive International from August 2009 to January 2014, focusing on the research and development of consumer kitchen products. Joseph also worked as an Industrial Designer at fruitsuper design, LLC, concentrating on in-house products and client-based projects. In addition, they worked as a Newsrack Designer at Grand Central Partnership, where they redesigned newsracks for the Grand Central Partnership neighborhood. Joseph also has experience working on various design projects, such as the Home Office Furniture Collection at West Elm, the Visitor Information Kiosk at Grand Central Partnership, and multiple product designs at Jennifer Hoar Designs. Joseph has also held positions at Pratt Institute, K-Rain Manufacturing Corporation, David Torres Productions, Inc, and SIS International Research.

Joseph Kent attended Pratt Institute from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Industrial Design in the field of Industrial Design. In 2008, they also participated in the Furniture Program at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. Prior to this, from 2002 to 2004, they studied Industrial Design Technology at The Art Institutes.
