Diego Dancourt

Diego Dancourt has a extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Diego started their career as a Developer Engineer at Heinsohn Business Technology in 2006. Diego then worked as a Programmer at Pringo in 2007, where they focused on web development using ActionScript and writing HTML and CSS code.

Diego then moved on to SwipeClock as a Programmer/Product Developer in 2007 and played a role in developing the main time and attendance system. At SwipeClock, they worked on time rules and scheduling for employees in different time zones across the United States, considering various tax rules and payment methods.

Diego later joined United Airlines in 2012 as a Senior Software Developer/Engineering Manager. There, they contributed to the Crew Communication System, working on software features for scheduling and setup of pilots and flight attendants. Diego was involved in various aspects of the software development lifecycle, primarily using C# and ASP.

Diego worked at Nudge Real Estate in 2015 as a Senior C# Developer, where they built software applications and improved the system for marketing and finance departments. As a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead, they provided leadership and oversight to the team. Eventually, they became a Software Engineering Manager, overseeing two teams of software engineers, software engineers in test, and business analysts, working across different time zones.

Most recently, Diego has been working at Progressive Leasing as a Lead Software Engineer since 2023; however, further details about this role are not provided.

Diego Dancourt completed their Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, specializing in Software Engineering, from the Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito. Diego attended this institution from 2001 to 2006.

Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Information Technology, with a focus on Enterprise Software Architecture. Diego obtained this degree from Capella University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Diego Dancourt also obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in June 2012.
