Charles J West

Charles J West has extensive experience in the construction and plumbing industries, currently serving as the Director of Construction at Progressive Mechanical, Inc. since January 2006. In this role, Charles oversees a diverse range of projects, including significant installations and remodels for major clients like Ford, GM, and DTE, with a current focus on the Samsung SDI/Stellantis JV Battery Production Plant in Kokomo, Indiana. Prior to this position, Charles worked as a General Foreman managing mechanical systems at the City of Detroit Waterworks Park, and earlier, as a Plumber with Plumbers Local 98, gaining valuable skills across various mechanical sectors including steel mills, oil refineries, and automotive plants. Charles completed a plumbing apprenticeship at the Plumbers 98 Apprentice School, obtaining U.S. Department of Labor Apprentice Certification in plumbing.
