Nicole Scalice, MS, CCC-SLP, is a seasoned Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience across multiple settings. Current positions include serving at Speak Your Mind, LLC, Speech Therapy Center, LLC, and Progressive Steps, LLC since November 2018 and February 2019, respectively. Previous roles include working with West Orange Public School District and Celebrate the Children as a maternity leave replacement. Nicole holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Mercy University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Rhode Island. Experience encompasses individualized therapy for a wide range of communication disorders in pediatric and adult populations, as well as clinical internships that provided comprehensive exposure to therapy modalities and standards.

Progressive Steps, LLC's mission is to provide quality Early Childhood Intervention, Support and Therapeutic Services to enhance the capacity of families to meet the developmental and health-related needs of their children birth to age three who have developmental delays or disabilities. We strive to promote collaborative partnerships among the families, their community, service and health care providers, schools and child care programs to strengthen and enhance families' abilities to develop and use lasting networks of natural support. Our goal is to provide a family-centered approach which will be based on the uniqueness of each family. By providing support in settings most natural and comfortable to each child and family, it will foster opportunities for the development of peer relationships with children without disabilities. Finally, we aim to provide the current best practices in the field of early intervention to yield the most beneficial outcome for the child and family. In doing so, we will respect and recognize the beliefs, knowledge, culture and preferences of each family, and utilize these for the planning and execution of all services.
