Resident Services Coordinator at Project Access

Kristine Rubio, MPH, is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in program coordination, health access, and community engagement. Presently serving as the Resident Services Coordinator at Project Access since October 2022, Rubio previously held the position of STEM Specialist at the Boys & Girls Club and was the AmeriCorps Program Manager for the Colorado Opioid Response Program at Central Colorado Area Health Education Center. Additionally, Rubio's background includes a role as Program Coordinator at YWCA El Paso del Norte Region and Health Access Coordinator at United Way Of El Paso County. Earlier experiences include program evaluation at Project Seguro, an internship with Susan G. Komen for the Cure focused on breast cancer needs assessment, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at UTSPH. Rubio earned a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of New Mexico.
