Katie Lynch

Katie Lynch has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Katie started their career at SUPERVALU as a Cash Office Administrator and Sales Assistant, where they handled large sums of cash, managed cashiers' pick-ups and balanced tills. Katie then worked at O'Connor & Co Accountants Cork as a Trainee Financial Accountant, gaining experience in balance sheet preparation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Katie then joined Brookfield Retail Management as a Part Qualified Management Accountant, where they analyzed sales and stock variances, reconciled monthly creditors, and assisted in the preparation of management accounts. Katie later became a Financial Accountant at Declan O'Connell & Co Accountants & Registered Auditors, where they handled financial statement preparation, analysis, and taxation. Katie also worked at Alter Domus as a Senior Fund Accountant, specializing in fund accounting. Currently, they hold the position of Group Financial Accountant at Project Delivery Partners and is set to become the Global Head of Finance in 2023. Throughout their career, Katie has demonstrated proficiency in various software packages and has trained and supported other team members.

Katie Lynch completed their education in various institutes over the years. Katie began their academic journey in 2008 at Cork College of Commerce, where they pursued a degree in Office Administration & Computer Studies at FETAC Level 5. After their completion of studies at Cork College of Commerce in 2009, they went on to enroll at Munster Technological University, majoring in Honours Business in Accounting. Katie pursued this course until 2013, gaining knowledge in the field of Accounting and Business Management.

In 2014, Katie Lynch joined Griffith College Cork to further their education. Katie opted for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) program, specializing in Accountancy and Finance. Katie continued their studies in this field until 2019, expanding their expertise and skills in accountancy.

It should be noted that in addition to their formal education, Katie Lynch also obtained a certification in "How to Motivate Yourself to Do What's Most Important" from LinkedIn in February 2021.
