Project Evident
Megan Alexandra Hoffman is a skilled professional with extensive experience in program analysis and education management. Currently serving as a Program Analyst and previously as a Program Associate at Project Evident since April 2022, Megan has contributed significantly to the Education Agency Practice. Prior to this, Megan held the position of Food Service Director at String Theory Schools from July 2016 to March 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing the National School Lunch Program for over 3,500 students while ensuring compliance with regulations. Additionally, Megan acted as Tech Lead and Event Support for the North American Basic Income Guarantee Congress in June 2021, facilitating the first virtual congress. Earlier roles include Research Assistant at NewsEase, where market research was conducted, and Project Coordinator and Photographer at the International Design Clinic, focusing on community design initiatives. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Education, Culture, and Society from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education (2018-2019) and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Temple University.

At the heart of our work is a shared perspective that the leaders of social innovations should lead the charge of evidence building to improve practice. Their questions, well answered, will inform policy and scale knowledge and learning in line with business and operating realities. Funders, data and technology firms and researchers play vitally important roles in fueling and supporting efforts to improve, build evidence, and scale. Evident is pleased to work with these stakeholders through an innovative shared services approach. We base our efforts in a set of principles for the proof of concept phase, and larger culture of how Project Evident works with organizations, collaborators, and the field.
