Project FIND
Project find (www.projectfind.org) – was created to provide housing and services for New York’s moderate and low-income senior population to ensure their continued independence in the community. The organization, amongst the first to provide homeless housing for New York City’s elderly, serves over 220,000 meals annually, operates special programs for the homeless or formerly homeless at two locations and provides a healthy aging program that offers a range of fitness and recreational opportunities. Today Project FIND operates three supportive housing residences that are home to about 600 people and four senior centers with nearly 3,000 members.
