Steve Brazeel is the Founder and CEO of Elevated Foods, a company dedicated to enhancing transparency in the fresh produce supply chain and improving profitability for farmers while promoting health for people and the planet. Steve also founded SunTerra Produce Traders, which has evolved into a prominent full-service brokerage in the produce industry, and Project FoodBox, which delivers fresh produce to communities in need. Additionally, Brazeel is the Managing Member of Prime Cooling, LLC, providing critical cooling and distribution services for growers, and co-founded SunTerra Logistics and SunTerra Distribution, LLC, focusing on refrigerated freight and fresh produce distribution. Brazeel served on the board of California LGMA and held sales positions at BuyProduce.com and DiMare Fresh early in their career. Brazeel holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and Management from the University of Arizona.

Project FoodBox
Project FoodBox sources, packages, and distributes boxes of fresh produce directly from farmers to communities in need. Born out of our participation in the USDA’s ground-breaking Farmers to Families Food Box program, Project FoodBox was launched in 2020. Since the program’s inception, and our teams have delivered over 4,500,000 boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables (over 80,000,000 pounds!) to families in need through its network of health care companies, food banks, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.
