Anthony Snead

Anthony Snead has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the IT and project management fields. Anthony is currently the Chief Services Officer at Project Genetics, where they play a key role in workforce management and project delivery services. Prior to this, they worked as an IT consultant and owner at Crystal Cloud Consulting, Ltd., providing IT services and consultation. Anthony also served as a Synack Red Team Member at Synack, Inc., contributing to cybersecurity efforts. Anthony has experience as an IT security consultant at ZeroDayLab and as an IT Project Manager at University College London, where they were involved in integrating IT systems. Anthony has also held leadership positions at PMI UK Chapter, overseeing volunteer coordination and external events. Anthony has worked on various projects, including network replacement at the Institute of Education and cloud infrastructure setup at The PC People Ltd. Prior to their consulting roles, they were a self-employed IT consultant, specializing in migrating office systems for healthcare providers and IT consultant companies. Anthony has a background in environmental responsibility, having worked as an IT consultant at Tilt Studio, Ltd.

Anthony Snead received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 1997. Anthony then pursued a Master of Science degree in Information and Technology Services from the same university, which they completed from 2004 to 2006.

Anthony later obtained an Undergraduate Certificate in Applied Cybersecurity from SANS Technology Institute during the period of 2021 to 2022. Anthony further enhanced their education by earning a Graduate Certificate in Cloud Security from the same institute between 2023 and 2024.

In addition to their academic achievements, Anthony also holds several certifications to supplement their knowledge and skills. Anthony obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security in May 2020. Anthony further acquired the Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) certification from the same institution in January 2021.

Anthony also holds various certifications from GIAC Certifications. Anthony earned the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) in December 2021, followed by the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification in June 2022. Anthony expanded their expertise with the Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification in December 2022 and the GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD) certification in April 2023.
