Caroline Pippel

Caroline Pippel has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, they began their career as a Photography Intern at HUSH Magazine. Caroline then worked as a Marketing and PR Intern at Photocircle before transitioning to a Freelance Marketing and PR role at the same company.

In 2015, Caroline joined Factory Berlin as a Coworking and Community Support member. Over the years, they progressed to become a Junior Community Manager, Community Coordinator, and eventually a Community Manager. In their final role at Factory Berlin, they served as a Community Experience Manager, responsible for enhancing the community's overall experience.

Caroline's expertise in community management led their to assume the position of Head of Community at KI Community in 2021. Here, they implemented community strategies and managed the community for AI professionals and enthusiasts. Concurrently, they worked as a Content Developer at PPE Germany GmbH, assisting in creating content for their brand and supporting the production of FFP2 masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Caroline continued their community-focused career by joining Zalando in 2021 as a Community Manager, where they oversaw community-related activities. Caroline then joined Otterspace in 2022 as a Community Lead, where they developed and executed community and content strategies for a web3 tool.

Most recently, Caroline is set to begin a new role as a Community & Platform Manager at Project Holi in 2023.

Caroline Pippel has a diverse education history. In 2009, they began their studies at Technische Universität Ilmenau and completed their degree in Angewandte Medienwissenschaften in 2013. During their time at Ilmenau, they also participated in a semester abroad program in 2012 at Vancouver Island University, where they focused on Digitale Kommunikation und Medien/Multimedien. In addition to their formal education, Caroline obtained a certification in Human Centered Service Design from IDEO U in June 2019.
