Meaza Mekete

Meaza Mekete is a finance professional with extensive experience in managing financial, grant, and procurement activities. Currently serving as a Senior Finance Officer at Project HOPE since June 2018, Meaza has developed expertise in using online QuickBooks. Prior roles include Senior Finance Officer and Finance Officer at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA), where responsibilities involved reviewing financial documents, data management using ERP and QuickBooks, and ensuring compliance for regional offices. Earlier experience as a Regional Accountant Specialist included overseeing administrative and finance activities for the region. Meaza began a career at Jhpiego-Ethiopia as an Administration and Finance Officer, managing finance, administration, and logistics activities. Meaza holds a Master of Business Administration from Bahir Dar University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution.
