Project HOPE
Omar Taha is an experienced consultant and program director with a robust background in global health and humanitarian aid. Currently serving as the Consultant-Program Director and Senior Technical Advisor for Locally-led Development at Project HOPE since February 2021, Omar manages USAID-funded programs aimed at addressing critical health challenges worldwide. Co-founding Centamani Solutions in January 2019, a social enterprise focused on localizing humanitarian aid, Omar also fulfilled significant roles at International Medical Corps, including senior technical advisor and project manager, where contributions strengthened the capacity of local NGOs. With earlier experience at U.S. Pharmacopeia and Nutriset contributing to public health outcomes, Omar holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
