Debra Marsteller

Debra Marsteller has extensive work experience, starting in 1982 as the Executive Director and CEO of Project Independence. After retiring from that role in December 1982, they continued to serve in various leadership positions until October 2021. Additionally, they have served as a Board Member of the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce since January 2016. In their early career, they were also the Executive Director of the Vantage Foundation from January 1982 to July 2007. Furthermore, they were a Member of the Leadership Tomorrow Board from 2001 to 2004.

Debra Marsteller obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Special Education and Teaching from the University Northern Colorado between 1975 and 1977. Following this, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Post Secondary Education at San Diego State University from 2000 to 2002.
