Project Jupyter
Alex Bozarth is an experienced software engineer specializing in open-source projects, particularly in the fields of quantum computing and data science. Currently employed at IBM as an Open Source Software Engineer, Alex focuses on quantum-safe improvements and contributes to the Jupyter ecosystem as a Jupyter Architect and committer. Alex is actively involved with the Elyra Technical Steering Committee at The Linux Foundation and serves on both the Jupyter Accessibility Council and the JupyterLab Council. In addition, Alex is a PPMC and committer for Apache Livy at The Apache Software Foundation. Previous positions include software development roles at Amazon.com and Zero Mass Engineering, along with a research assistant role at Cal Poly State University. Alex holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, both from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
