Luka Baar has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. In 2019, Luka co-founded and became the Managing Director of Project Lary, an Innovation Builder that focuses on creating software solutions using design thinking, rapid prototyping, and lean startup methodology. Before that, from 2018 to 2019, Luka worked as a Freelance Digital Consultant, specializing in digital strategy, products, and project management. In 2017, Luka worked at Celonis as a Business Process Analyst, where they managed pilot projects, created process analyses, and implemented SQL-connectors. From 2015 to 2017, Luka had various roles at Daimler AG, including CIO Digital Assistance Working Student and Business Innovation Working Student. In these positions, Luka improved user experience, participated in workshops, and worked on concepts for transforming Business Innovation. Luka also interned at Strategy&, part of the PwC network, where they conducted market research and created models for digital strategy development. Earlier in their career, Luka had internships at Flaconi, KPMG Deutschland, and Credit Suisse, gaining experience in online marketing, M&A advisory, and financial insight.
Luka Baar has a diverse education history. Luka began their academic journey in 2012 at the University of Mannheim, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration. Luka completed this degree in 2015.
In 2014, Baar had the opportunity to study abroad at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. Although they did not obtain a degree during this period, they focused on Business Administration.
Baar then went on to join the Technical University of Munich in 2016. Here, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Management & Technology (TUM-BWL) and successfully completed it in 2018. Additionally, during this time, Baar participated in the Design Thinking program (ME310/SUGAR) offered by the Technical University of Munich in 2016 and 2017.
Overall, Baar's education journey involved a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim, with a study abroad experience at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. Luka then pursued a Master's degree in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich while also engaging in the Design Thinking program.
