Byron B. Govender

Byron B. Govender, PMP, is an accomplished program and project manager with extensive experience in engineering and process development. Currently serving as a Program Manager and Youth Mentor at the PMI South Africa Chapter and as a Process Coordinator for the Project Management Institute in Washington DC, Byron has a proven track record in managing complex projects, notably improving an inventory management IT system for a hotel by over 50% through collaboration and agile techniques. Previously, Byron held significant roles at Strategic Procurement Services, where competitive government contracts were secured, and at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, contributing to advancements in high-pressure plasma technologies.
