Bob Chen

In early 2009, Bob Chen joined PMI to establish its China office as Managing Director of the Greater China region. Since then, Bob and his team have overseen strong growth, with more than 300,000 active PMI credential holders in mainland China alone – helping to create one of the top professional communities in the world.

With more than 25 years of marketing and leadership experience, Bob previously served as General Manager of Business Development for Oracle (China), and in senior leadership positions at Fuji Xerox and Motorola. Bob began his career with the Ministry of Railways of China as an Engineer/Project Manager.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering from Beijing Communications University and an MBA in Marketing from City University of Seattle (U.S.). He is a senior member of AmCham, as well as a member of ASAE. He enjoys outdoor sports, swimming, golf and traveling.
