Joe Spielberger

Joe Spielberger is a Policy Counsel at Project On Government Oversight, focusing on strengthening whistleblower protections, reforming security clearance processes, and advocating for government ethics and accountability. Prior to this, Joe worked as a Legislative Counsel at Lawyers For Good Government and as a Public Policy Counsel at ACLU of Maryland, where they played a key role in passing significant legislation. With a J.D. in Criminal Law and Government from Villanova University, Joe's expertise also includes legal research, analysis, and advocacy in areas such as police reform, civil liberties, and Constitutional law.
